We know that it is NOT easy being a high school student and this website was created as a resource to make navigating through high school just a little bit easier. You will find information on Insight PA's graduation requirements, our Character Strong SEL Curriculum and our CTE pathways. There are also wonderful resources for college and career planning. Ms. Babu is eager to meet you and support you on your high school journey. She grew up in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs. She went to Gwynedd Mercy University and earned a Master's in School Counseling. She has been working in a school setting for the past eight years and joined ISPA in Fall 2020. As a school counselor, she is supporting students in their academic, personal/social and career development. Together with the ISPA community and families, students can achieve successful outcomes.

Mrs. Orbin grew up in and still lives in Western PA. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, Media and Technology, she began working in higher education which eventually led to discovering her passion for School Counseling. It was then that Mrs. Orbin received her Master of Education in School Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She loves witnessing students find their own passion in school and in life and helping them plan for their future. Everyone’s path to success is unique and Mrs. Orbin is here to support students as they find their way.

Ms. Benvenuti is excited to be a part your high school journey! She is originally from the Pittsburgh area and has returned after living in South Carolina for 3 years. She attended Saint Vincent College, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and master’s degree in Counselor Education. She was also a member of the Women’s Basketball team. This will be her 4th year as a school counselor. She has enjoyed working in the school counseling role and being a part of the Insight PA Cyber Charter School team! She is excited to work with you and support you in navigating any social/emotional, academic, or career questions or issues that you may come across. Mrs. deTurck is very excited to meet you! She was born in New York City, and was raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania where she currently resides with her husband. Mrs. deTurck holds a Master of Education in Professional School Counseling from Liberty University and has a National Counselor Certification. Mrs. deTurck is passionate about working with adolescents and she is here to help you navigate any social/emotional, career, or academic questions or concerns you may have. Dr. Klepfer has 15 years of experience in school counseling and lives in central Pennsylvania with her husband and 2 daughters. She attended Penn State University for her undergraduate degree in Psychology, Slippery Rock University of PA for her Master’s Degree in School Counseling and Walden University for her PhD in Psychology.

Mrs. Tate resides with her husband and two children in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. She attended the University of Pittsburgh where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then went on to receive her Master of Education in School Counseling at California University of Pennsylvania (now Penn West). Before coming to Insight PA Cyber Charter School, Mrs. Tate worked as a High School Counselor at a public brick-and-mortar high school for 11 years and is very excited to bring her knowledge and passion for helping students to a virtual platform. She is here to assist and guide her students with career exploration, graduation planning, academic support, and social/emotional learning. Mrs. Lanzendorfer, aka ‘Mrs. L’ was born and raised in the suburbs of Pittsburgh and still resides in western PA with her husband and two daughters. She received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has her bachelors in Psychology with minors in Sociology; Human Services, and Women’s Studies and her masters in School Counseling PreK-12. She has worked in education for 10 years, and as a school counselor for the last 7 years.

Ms. Johnson was born and raised in New Jersey but has lived most of her adult life in Philadelphia Pennsylvania where she resides with her soon to be 15-year-old son. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Temple University and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Eastern University. Ms. Johnson has had 9 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and their families and holds her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. This is Ms. Johnson’s 6th school year working at Insight PA Cyber Charter School and her second year working on the High School Counseling Team. She is passionate about helping all students reach their full potential by academic achievement and career and social/emotional development that will ensure their continued success beyond High School.
